The most wonderful thing happened this morning, I woke up!!
And guess what…everyone in my family woke up too – how cool is that?!
Today, over one million people did not wake up and so millions of other people woke up to horrible news.
Today is a great day!
But…
- The shirt I want is dirty.
- The gas tank is on empty.
- The weather sucks.
- I forgot my lunch.
- This paycheck is not going to last until payday.
- My boss is not hearing me.
- I have no idea what to cook for dinner.
- The traffic is ridiculous.
- Why do I have to do all the work myself?
- I’m tired, stressed, overwhelmed, sick, lonely…
And…
The most wonderful thing happened this morning, I woke up!
I woke up safe and smart and capable and loved and talented and resourceful and abundant.
I choose to see the positive.
I choose to be grateful.
I choose to ask for what I need.
I choose to bring optimistic people into my life.
I choose to put up boundaries.
I choose to get creative.
I choose to be solution-focused.
I choose to take small steps in the right direction.
