A Love Letter to Yourself (Yes, You!)

"You have enough. You do enough. You are enough. Period." me

I’m a big fan of Creative Mornings, and this Valentine’s Day, they’ve made it super easy for us to show a little self-love. They’ve put together some fun templates to help us reflect, share, and appreciate ourselves—because, let’s be real, self-love isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the foundation of everything.

I truly believe that if we all loved and accepted ourselves more, the world would—yes, I’m going to say it—be a better place.

So, here’s your challenge: Pick a design you like, print it, post it, copy it, or—if you’re feeling extra bold—tattoo it on the inside of your eyelids (okay, maybe not that last one). Fill in the blanks or make up your own letter.

Yes, it might feel awkward. Yes, it might be uncomfortable. And yes, you might roll your eyes. Try it! If you have trouble, think about what someone who loves you would say.

Your Self-Love Letter

Dear Me,

I love the way that I ______. I’m really good at ______ and ______. Not to mention ______. I am ______. I am ______. And my ______ is really cute. Keep doing ______. The world is lucky to have my ______ in it. I am truly ______.

With love, Me

Share this  around your dinner table, bring it up at work (yes, I dare you), or just take a moment for yourself.

And because I’d never ask a coaching client to do something I haven’t done myself, I won't ask you without doing it myself, so here’s mine:

Dear Me,

I love the way that I try to see the best in the world. I’m really good at spreading joy and generating cool ideas. Not to mention making people feel good about themselves. I am kind. I am optimistic. And my smile is really cute. Keep speaking and encouraging. The world is lucky to have my quirkiness in it.  I am truly unique.

With love,  Me

Now, it’s your turn. Do this or something/anything to acknowledge yourself this V-day!

And if you care to share, I'd love to hear, Steph

For Your Honey...

Grab a cozy drink, a deck of cards, and a Sharpie, then find a quiet spot where you won’t be interrupted. Now, take a deep breath and think about all the reasons you fell in love with your person.

Write one reason on each card. Don't stress about filling all 52 at once! Just start with one, then another. If you don’t finish in one sitting, no worries—maybe it turns into a birthday or Christmas gift. That’s perfectly fine.

This simple act of love is more powerful than you think. It’s a gift that keeps on giving—for them, for you, and for your relationship.
